I am a collector of old frames. One day, while looking at my paper paint palette and several frames leaning against my studio wall, I decided to combine the two. With the realization that often my best abstract paintings emerge while mixing paint, I collaged portions of the paper palettes with the frames — serendipitously creating art and reducing my carbon footprint. The influence for this body of work might be Milton Ernest "Robert" Rauschenberg.
